What changes the price

Access & scaffolding

Height, boundary access and whether scaffold or a mobile tower is needed all affect labour cost.

Substrate condition

Existing wall condition — timber frame, masonry, or damaged substrate needing repair before cladding goes on.

Fire rating requirement

A1/A2-rated systems for buildings over 11m or covered by Building Regulations cost more than standard combustible-class options.

Insulation & build-up

Whether you're adding external wall insulation (EWI) behind the cladding, or cladding over an existing wall.

Waste removal

Stripping and disposing of old cladding or render before the new system goes on.

Project scale

Larger commercial/industrial projects benefit from lower cost-per-m² due to material buying power and efficient labour deployment.
